Hi, I’m Chelsea Polanski the proud owner and stylist of Opal Salon WNY. From a young age, I dreamed of creating a space where I could express my creativity, and make my clients feel at home.
After more than a decade in the industry I was able to turn that dream into reality. Offering a warm and serene environment for everyone who walks through the doors.
My main goal as a stylist is to help my clients look & feel beautiful!
Born and raised in the 716, I grew up with older brothers, embracing a blend of tomboy and girly girl. My hobbies range from fishing, trying out new recipes, crafting, and kayaking in the great outdoors. After attending Canisius College, I chose to shift my career path and follow my childhood dreams. I enrolled in cosmetology school in 2012. This decision officially sparked my passion for the hair industry, and launching me on an exciting lifelong adventure.

I have been a licensed hairstylist for over a decade, in which I have honed my expertise using 'Wella' color & products. At Opal Salon WNY I customize colors using WelIa hair color, which is considered the "No. 1 Salon Color Brand In The World"! In addition to using Wella I hand picked a variety of my favorite products from various brands to use at my station & for retail. Besides my work behind the chair, I spent several years teaching at the cosmetology school I once attended. This experience allowed me to refine the fundamentals while inspiring young stylists on their journey.
